The Carrie Lewith Charitable Trust (Lewith Trust) is dedicated to its mission of providing housing stability and financial security for the low-income seniors (50+ years old) of King County.

We are collaborators and investors. We look to make meaningful investments in strategies that will move our community toward our vision of providing all seniors in King County the opportunity to lead enriching lives in safe housing.

Our approach is rooted in dignity, collaboration, and inclusiveness.

The Lewith Trust + The Sophia Way

Our Housing Partner,

The Sophia Way

The Sophia Way is the only organization on the Eastside that exclusively supports women experiencing homelessness.

Funding from the Trust is providing women aged 50 and older a place to call home at three cottages located on the Trust's property in Lake Forest, WA. All women will receive case management services from The Sophia Way.

A big thanks to Girls Giving Back as well for beautifully furnishing the residences and ensuring we're providing not just shelter but a place to call home.

"I'm so happy to get a fresh start and having a place that I can call

my own home."
